This year’s workshop was fully onsite, welcoming a record number of participants, XXXX in total, including many international attendees.
The program featured 32 oral presentations, including 5 keynote talks, and 153 poster presentations. On the second day, participants engaged in breakout sessions covering six topics.

Following the conference, a two-day post-workshop field trip from September 20th explored the records of slow and fast earthquakes along the subduction zone, focusing on the Makinobe Mélange in the Shimanto Belt and the Nobeoka Thrust Fault.
Additionally, the pre-conference event for early career researchers was held on September 16th.
